"Sindhu Bhavan Ahmedabad" is an app that serves as a gateway to the rich cultural and charitable activities of Sindhu Sewa Samaj in Ahmedabad. Founded with the blessings and guidance of Late Padmashri Dada Jiwanlal Jairamdas, a veteran Gandhian and freedom fighter, the trust is dedicated to the resettlement and welfare of Sindhi refugees who migrated from Pakistan to areas like Kubernagar, Sardarnagar, and Thakkar Bapanagar in Ahmedabad.
The app provides a comprehensive overview of the trusts multifarious charitable and cultural activities aimed at the all-round physical, social, cultural, educational, moral, and spiritual development of society. These initiatives are carried out without discrimination based on race, religion, caste, color, creed, or sex.
Sindhu Bhavan, a three-story complex with a basement, is the focal point of these activities, encompassing a total area of 2500 sq. meters on a 4000 sq. meter plot. The building features two AC convention and banquet halls on the ground and first floors, respectively, seven small activity halls on the first floor, 13 well-furnished AC rooms and a dining hall on the second floor, and a cellar for parking. Additionally, there is a meditation center on the ground floor and an imposing temple dedicated to Jhulelal Sain in the lawns, surrounded by statues of various gods and goddesses.
